134th Sri Lanka Amateur Open Golf Championship 2025
Trials to select 2 teams of 2 players (males) each, total of 4 players to represent Sri Lanka at the Parlakamedi Trophy and Zia-Ul-Haq Trophy to be played on the 23rd and 24th September 2025 at the Royal Colombo Golf Club.
36-hole trial will be held on Friday 12th September 2025
Trialists have to be citizens of Sri Lanka.
Only players with a playing handicap of 4 or under off the Blue tees will be eligible to play in the trial.
Players who meet the above criteria and are available for trials and the tournament, should inform Duminda on WhatsApp by 08th September 2025. Late entries will not be accepted.
Caddies will not be permitted for the trial7.
Players are expected to carry their own bags or use a push cart.
Players are reminded of the 50yd distance that needs to be maintained from spectators/RCGC staff. Breach of this rule will result in a 2-stroke penalty. The penalty will be applied without any prior warning.
Players are also reminded of proper etiquette being observed during the 2-round trial. 1) all players must remain close to the Tee till all tee off 2) also must remain within view of the green till all players in the group finish the hole.
Apart from scores returned at the 36-hole trial, scores returned in Ranking Tournaments held in June, July and August and SLG Ranking points may also be considered for selection.
